Product Description

• This product automatically dims indoor lights using a Doppler-type occupancy sensor utilizing ultrasonics, detecting even subtle movements of the human body.
• Ultrasonic waves are inaudible sound waves, ensuring no interference or harm to humans from electronic waves.
• The Doppler method detects changes in the frequency of the reflected ultrasonic waves, allowing it to sense movements beyond restroom cubicle partitions. Additionally, it does not penetrate spaces blocked by doors or glass, preventing detection of unnecessary movements outside the targeted area.
• By adding the 2-contact option, it becomes possible to control both the light and the ventilation fan in enclosed-structure bathrooms, such as resorts, hotels, training centers, or typical households. (Optional feature, see below for detailed function description)

• Common Area : Areas such as bathrooms where there is no airflow, small meeting rooms, etc.
• Home Use : Control of indirect lighting in the living room and kitchen during late-night hours, and home bathrooms, etc.

Explanation of 2-Contact Function

• The ultrasonic smart energy-saving sensor, equipped with two relays, cuts off power after different durations as determined by the 1st and 2nd timers.
• With a single product, you can turn off the light first using the 1st timer after using the bathroom, and then run the ventilation fan for a few more minutes using the 2nd timer to remove odors and humidity before turning it off.
• When installed in the living space of a single resident, it can transmit signals through the 2nd timer contacts for long-term inactivity alerts or unauthorized entry alerts during absence to IoT devices, PLCs, etc.

Design Examples

• Meeting rooms

  Depending on the size of the meeting room, install the 2Way product in the center for larger meeting rooms, and install the 1Way product in one corner of smaller meeting rooms with the ultrasonic detection direction facing the center of the room. It detects even small movements during meetings to maintain lighting.

• Restroom

  Install the 1Way product in one corner of the bathroom to control the light with 1 contact and the ventilation fan with 2 contacts. Upon entering, both the light and the fan turn on simultaneously, and upon exiting, the light turns off first, followed by the fan running for a set time (previously configured) to remove moisture and odor from the bathroom before turning off.

Installation Method

• 
  Using the spring brackets, you can fix the sensor to the ceiling by applying elasticity of springs.
• 
  Open the front cover and use the screw holes of the mail body to fix it to the ceiling with screws.
• 
  Open the front cover and fix it by directly attaching it to the switch box (Screw hole spacing 81.5±1mm).
