Embedded Ceiling Sensor

Bluetooth Embedded Ceiling Sensor AIM210P-B / AIM210PIO-B

Product Description

  • Utilizing a wireless setup method, users can install a sensor control application on their smartphones and connect to the sensor via Bluetooth communication. The installed application allows configuration of sensor sensitivity, timers, lighting conditions, and other functions. With no need to physically access the sensor, which may be installed at a high ceiling, the convenience and safety of management are significantly enhanced.
  • Going beyond hardware constraints, the application includes various features such as Always-on Lighting mode, presentation mode, testing functions, and more, offering versatile utility based on the installation environment.

Expand functionality by adding sensor heads

  • By adding sensor heads, you can expand the detection range using a multi-head approach or apply an access verification method. In particular, the access verification method is useful when you need to install indicator lights for confirming usage within narrow spaces.
  • Multi-Head Approach: You can expand the detection range by adding AIM810HD heads.
(Refer to the Multi-Head Sensor System > Multi-Head Occupancy Detection System for more details.)
  • Access Verification Method : This method involves installing sensor heads at the entrances and indoors of the detection space. It determines occupancy status by receiving signals, primarily used for confirming the usage of facilities like restrooms for people with disabilities, toilet stalls, and high-security areas." (Refer to the Multi-Head Sensor System > Multi-Head Access Verification Sensor System for more details.)

Installation Method

  • By inserting the power module and sensor head into the same hole simultaneously, it minimizes damage to the ceiling finish material and makes the installation process convenient. (Hole Size: Φ45mm)

Control Application Functions

Application Areas

  • Common Areas in Buildings

Consider installing sensors in commonly used areas such as restrooms and meeting rooms within a building, where management can become lax. If the existing sensors are outdated, they can be replaced with ceiling embedded sensors featuring a simple design. With Autorimo's high-sensitivity sensor technology, lights quickly illuminate upon user entry and automatically turn off after use, eliminating the need for administrators to manually switch lights. Furthermore, all installed sensors can be managed with a single smartphone, allowing for both energy savings and cost reduction in management.

  • Residential Facilities

In various residential spaces like entryways and pantries, where usage time is not lengthy, interior lighting with our sensors can automatically turn on or off while maintaining the same aesthetics. This not only saves on electricity bills but also enhances convenience in daily life. Additionally, in retirement communities or households with elderly or young children, indirect lighting control in living rooms or kitchens can contribute to nighttime safety and psychological well-being. Installing them in bedrooms and children's rooms allows for easy dimming using a smartphone before bedtime.

  • Hotels & Resorts

Guests staying at hotels and resorts no longer need to search for light switches when they need to use the restroom during the night. Sensors automatically turn on the lights, providing guests with a convenient experience and leaving them with the impression that this hotel or resort is modern and forward-thinking. Additionally, if lighting in blind spots such as restrooms and balconies remains on continuously while guests are in their rooms, automatic shutoff leads to immediate cost savings. The cost-saving effect is maximized as the number of rooms increases.

  • Office Buildings

Have you been concerned that the decreasing number of facility management personnel and the installation of sensors make management challenging? With just a smartphone, you can control and monitor sensors connected to high ceilings. Lights in constantly lit offices and corridor windows can be dimmed or turned off based on illuminance. In meeting rooms, you can utilize constant illumination mode and presentation mode, among others.

Design Examples

  • Front Door (Applicable Model: AIM210P-B)

When installing, select the sensor location at a 1-meter distance from the front entrance door. If the front door is opened and used, use a sensor lens cover to prevent motion detection from the living room.

  • Accessible Restroom Occupancy Indicator (Applicable Model: AIM210PIO-B)

Install an entry sensor head at the entrance directly above, and place an occupancy sensor inside. Use a sensor lens cover in the direction of the entrance to prevent detection of movement outside the entrance and the door.

Field Of View

  • When the L-type sensor is applied, it can detect up to a maximum radius of 4-5 meters at a height of 3 meters. The detection distance can be adjusted depending on the sensor lens type and may vary depending on the environment.
